Synthesis of Ag/PANI@MnO2 core-shell nanowires and their capacitance behavior

英文摘要Polyaniline (PANI) nanowires coated with Ag nanoparticles and MnO2 nanoflakes were fabricated via a facile two-step in situ oxidative polymerization process, and their applications for electrochemical energy storage were explored. A morphological study confirmed the formation of Ag nanoparticles on the PANI surface, which was uniformly coated by MnO2. Electrochemical tests showed that the ternary Ag/PANI@MnO2 nanoscale architectures displayed a high specific capacitance of 518.0 F g(-1) at a current density of 0.1 A g(-1), with a retention ratio of 88.4% after 1600 cycles at a current density of 1.0 A g(-1). The good performance is attributed to the synergistic effects of the different components of the Ag/PANI@MnO2 nanocomposite system.
