英文摘要We devise four sorts of doped negative metamaterials (dnms) by introducing inductors and capacitors into traditional negative metamaterials as heterogeneous elements. some new properties are presented through finite-difference time-domain (fdtd) simulations. on the one hand, the forbidden bandwidth of traditional negative metamaterials is extended by these introduced heterogeneous elements. on the other hand, new pass bands as well as forbidden bands are generated in these doped negative metamaterials. noting these properties, we then vary the value of the introduced inductors and capacitors to investigate the resulting transmission changes and generate the quantization control of doped negative metamaterials.
