英文摘要Since from 2011 when the Syrian Civil War broke out, at least 470,000 people have died (with 1.9 million wounded). In March 2015, Al Jazeera estimated 10.9 million Syrians or almost half the population who have been displaced which has been one of the most severe humanitarian disasters since World WarⅡ.Therefore, it is difficult to monitor humanitarian conditions in Syria during the war. Remotely sensed imagery which can record Earth’s surface information from outer space has been proved to be an efficient and objective data source for evaluating armed conflicts. This paper uses Syria two river basins as research areas. Based on the spatial and temporal scales of the study and the complex characteristics of the crop planting structure in Syria, the region has a total of 12 remote sensing images for 19 months between 2010 and 2017 with 456 remote sensing images. The selected TM/ETM+/OLI image is selected as a suitable data source for the study. Here, 50 km of two river basins and 5 remote sensing images of each month are intercepted, and a total of 120 remote sensing images are taken to process.Combining crop phenology information, using time series NDVI curves, and comparing the similarity of the NDVI time series curve with the reference time series curve of the to-be-segmented pixels, we established the rules and object-oriented classification method to extract the crop planting structure information of Syria and the two river basins between 2010 and 2017. These include mainly crops of sugar beet, cotton, wheat, and orchards, and analyze the impact of the war on changes in the crop planting structure. The main findings and characteristics are as following:(1)When the ground survey sample cannot be obtained, establishing a rule through the existing crop growth process to select crops whose growth process values are in full compliance with the sample, and establishing reference NDVI time series curves of various crops for object-oriented classification.(2)The experimental results show that during the civil war between the two river basins in Syria during the period from 2010 to 2017, large areas of farmland were abandoned, beet, cotton, wheat, and fruit trees were caused by reduced, and crop yields were reduced by 1/2. The area of abandoned farmland duringthe Civil War is an important indicator of immigration, death, and trauma. This also explains the great damage caused by the war.(3)The range and total area of crops in Syria and the total area extracted from remote sensing imagery in 2010 are similar to those of survey data. This shows that it is feasible to extract Syria's 2017 crop distribution in accordance with the above-mentioned method and ensure the reliability of the results with authenticity.
