中文摘要co3o4 nanorods showed surprisingly high activity for co oxidation at a temperature as low as 196 k, and also exhibited sustainably stability in the feed gas containing moisture. the reaction rate of co oxidation over the co3o4 nanorods was at least one order of magnitude larger than those over conventional nanoparticles. hrtem observations proved that the single crystal co3o4 nanorods predominantly exposed the {110} planes that favors the presence of co3+ species acting as the active sites for co oxidation. the results indicating that the morphology control of metal oxides allows preferential exposure of active sites and thus promote the catalytic performance significantly.
