中文摘要	www.aails.com is the first free worldwide internet portal and information platform providing the opportunity to the academic and industrial ionic liquids community to find and post various types of information related to the emerging field of ionic liquids. www.aails.com was founded in january 2008, resulting from a project initiated at the china ionic liquids laboratory in dalian/china. the information portal www.aails.com was launched in june 2008 as one part of an information services project related to ionic liquids. it is our aim to establish an web based portal focusing on the topic ionic liquids to accumulate and structure the wealth of ionic liquids-related information in the internet and to make it available to everyone. this presentation will give an overview of recent developments on the web portal and its upcoming feature and will describe the following functions in more detail: •regular news about ionic liquids •personal profiles of leading researchers in the field of ionic liquids •listing of events/conferences related to ionic liquids •comprehensive database with literature, patent and book data related to ionic liquids • web forum for individual communication • tutorial and tool box for daily work with ionic liquids • ionic liquids catalogue (summarizing more than 20 suppliers worldwide) • listing of company profiles related to the field of ionic liquids • post and search for ionic liquid patents offered for licensing
