中文摘要tocharacterizetheformationofsilicaspicules,thedynamicsofspiculogenesisofanintertidalmarinespongehymeniacidonperlevis(montagu1818)(porifera:demospongiae)wereinvestigatedbymeasuringthegeneexpressionofsilicatein(theenzymeresponsibleforspiculesilicification)andthedimensionalchangesofspiculesduringthedevelopmentalprocessofindividualspongesandincellculturesofprimmorphsofarchaeocyte-dominantcellpopulations.thedifferentdevelopmentalstagesofspiculesweredocumentedbytime-lapsemicroscopyandobservedbytransmissionelectronmicroscopyduringa1-monthcultureperiod.duringitsannuallifecycle,h.perlevishasfourdifferentdevelopmentalstages: dormancy,resuscitation,bloom,anddecline.field-grownindividualspongesamplesatdifferentstageswerecollectedover7months(marchtoseptember2005).thedimensionsofthesilicaspiculesfromthesesamplesweremicroscop¬icallymeasuredandstatisticallyanalyzed.thisanalysisandthematerialpropertiesofthespiculesallowedthemtobeclassifiedintofourgroupsrepresentingthedifferentdevelopmentalstagesofspiculogenesis.silicateinexpres¬sioninthebloomstagewasmorethan100timeshigherthanthatintheotherstagesandwascorrelatedwiththespiculedevelopmentalstage.thetrendofspiculeformationinfield-grownspongeswasconsistentwiththetrendincellculture.anewparameter,thematurationdegree(md)ofspicules(definedastheratioofactualtotheoreticalsilicadepositionofmaturespicules),wasintroducedtoquantifyspiculedevelopment.silicaspiculogenesisduringh.perlevisdevelopmentwasdelineatedbycomparingmdandsilicateinexpression. keywordssilicaspicule.silicatein.spiculogenesis.archaeocyte-dominantcellpopulations.primmorphculture.sponge,hymeniacidonperlevis(porifera)
