英文摘要No-sand cushion vacuum preloading method to improve bearing capacity of fresh hydraulic fill mud was proposed and carried out in a 10000 m(2) testing region. The results indicated that the ground surface settlement augmented linearly and sharply within 60 d. After 60 d, the sedimentation rate of all the monitoring sites decreased. The sedimentation rate tended to stabilize after 120 d. In addition, the fresh hydraulic fill mud with an initial bearing capacity of close to 0 kPa became a hard shell layer with a strength value around 50 kPa. The hard shell layer thickness was 0.2 m to 0.3 m. No-sand cushion vacuum preloading method has characteristics of low cost, short construction period and simple process, and provides a hard shell layer with a certain bearing capacity which fully meets the pile driver, self-discharging car and other machines work on it.
