英文摘要This paper presents some recent progresses of our group on DDA research. Based on the original Discontinuous Deformation Analysis (DDA) method, some extensions have been made to simulate fracturing process of rock mass under complex condition. The extensions consist of rock failure algorithm and hydro-mechanical coupling algorithm. The rock failure algorithm namely DDARF (Discontinuous Deformation Analysis for Rock Failure) can simulate the whole process of rock fracturing. By adding the hydro-mechanical coupling algorithm, the DDARF can simulate hydraulic fracturing process. With these extensions, the DDA method is more applicable to geomechanics problems and geoengineering problems under complex conditions. Examples of DDARF and hydro-mechanical coupled DDARF are presented in regard to simulation of Brazil disk split test, collapse of tunnels and hydraulic fracturing.
