英文摘要This paper describes a new method for analyzing geotechnical problems. In contrary to the more common dynamic explicit finite difference codes for solving large deformation problems like FLAG the method presented here is a static implicit one. The new method establishes an implicit algorithm is based upon the principle of minimum potential energy and by introducing the principle of force distribution a simple and fast solution procedure is developed. The computing examples indicate the rationality, efficiency, ability and flexibility of the method in solving problems in geotechnical engineering.
