英文摘要The red-bed soft rock is widely distributed in the Three Gorges Reservoir area. The strata of red-bed soft rock generally contain one or more layers of weak interlayer. In this paper, take red-bed soft rock as our research object, considering the different thickness and saturation degree of its weak interlayer, the mechanical properties of red-bed soft rock containing weak interlayer were studied by laboratory tests and field tests based on the mineral analysis results of the weak interlayer, and a series of useful results were obtained. The research here can provide guidance for the design and construction of red-bed soft rock slope in the area of Three Gorges reservoir and western region of Hubei province, China.
