英文摘要The soft magnetic properties of Fe-based metallic glasses are reduced significantly by external and residual stresses, e.g., the susceptibility decreases and coercivity increases, which limits their application severely. Unraveling the micromechanism of how the stress influences the soft magnetic properties is of great help for enhancing the performance of Fe-based metallic glasses. In this work, we investigate the effect of viscoelastic heterogeneity on the motion of magnetic domain wall surrounding nanoindentations. Compared to the matrix, dissipation of the viscoelastic heterogeneity increases toward the nanoindentation. Meanwhile, the motion of domain wall under external magnetic field becomes more difficult toward the nanoindentations. A correlation between the viscoelastic dissipation and the moving ability of magnetic domain walls is observed, which can be well fitted using magnetoelastic coupling theory. This suggests that manipulating the microscale viscoelastic heterogeneity is probably a helpful strategy for enhancing the soft magnetic properties of metallic glasses.
