英文摘要磷酸盐激光钕玻璃由于具有高储能,高增益和低非线性系数等优点,一直以来是高功率激光装置中的重要增益介质材料。随着大型激光装置逐渐走向重频时代,高平均功率激光装置正广泛用于激光冲击强化、钛宝石泵源等领域。但是在重频应用中,大量的热积累造成玻璃中心与边缘产生温度差,从而导致玻璃中会发生热光畸变,不仅限制了激光重复频率的提高,也严重降低了光束质量和激光器输出功率。因此,本文采用高温熔融法制备了高质量磷酸盐钕玻璃,通过改变组分中PbO/BaO和R2O/K2O (R2O = Li2O, Na2O)摩尔比,旨在研究玻璃组分对热光性能及光谱性能的影响规律,希望获得激光性能好、热光系数低的磷酸盐激光钕玻璃。 本论文共包含六个部分:文献综述;实验方法与理论基础;PbO/BaO摩尔比对磷酸盐激光钕玻璃性质的影响;Li2O/K2O摩尔比对磷酸盐激光钕玻璃性质的影响;Na2O/K2O摩尔比对磷酸盐激光钕玻璃性质的影响;结论。具体内容如下: 在第一章中,主要介绍了磷酸盐激光钕玻璃的应用与研究进展,并以二元磷酸盐玻璃为例,详细分析了磷酸盐玻璃结构,之后简要介绍了Nd3+在磷酸盐玻璃中的光谱特性以及热光性质的重要性。最后,引出本文的研究思路与内容。 论文第二章介绍了本论文涉及的实验方法与理论基础,包括玻璃样品制备,性能测试手段,以及Judd-Ofelt等理论分析方法。 论文第三章系统研究了PbO/BaO摩尔比对磷酸盐钕玻璃的物理性质、热学性质、光谱性质、热光性质以及玻璃结构的影响。通过Judd-Ofelt理论分析了吸收光谱,得到了光谱性质参数;运用Fuchtbauer-Ladenburg理论对Nd3+离子在磷酸盐玻璃中的受激发射截面进行了计算。结果表明,PbO/BaO摩尔比的增大,使玻璃受激发射截面增大,而对热光系数没有显著影响。 论文第四、五章分别研究了Li2O/K2O和Na2O/K2O摩尔比对磷酸盐钕玻璃性质及结构的影响。实验对玻璃的密度、折射率、热学性质、拉曼光谱、荧光和吸收光谱,热光性质进行了测试和分析。根据Judd-Ofelt理论计算了J-O参数,自发辐射几率,荧光分支比等;利用Fuchtbauer-Ladenburg理论计算了Nd3+离子的受激发射截面。研究结果表明,玻璃的热学性质,如转变温度、热膨胀系数等和光谱性质,如受激发射截面、荧光峰强度等都受到混合碱效应影响,随R2O/K2O摩尔比增大呈现非线性变化;而热光系数随Li2O/K2O摩尔比的增大单调增大。 论文第六章总结了全文的实验结果,并指出了本实验研究中存在的不足之处以及需要进一步改进的地方。; Nd-doped phosphate glasses have been gain materials for high power laser systems, because of its large stored energy, high gain properties and low nonlinear refractive index. As the large-scale laser devices gradually to work with high repetition rates, high average power laser systems are widely used in many fields, such as laser peening of metals and pump lasing for Ti: sapphire laser systems. In HAP laser systems, the massive heat accumulation (under operation at certain repetition rates) can generate a temperature difference between the edge and the center of the glass, resulting in thermal distortion in the glass, which not only limits the laser repetition rates, but also seriously reduces the beam quality and output power. In this paper, high-quality phosphate glasses are prepared by the melt quenching method. The molar ratio of PbO/BaO and R2O/K2O (R2O = Li2O, Na2O) have been adjusted to investigate the effect of compositions on the thermo-optical and spectroscopic properties of the glasses. The aim of the present research is to obtain a laser glass system with a low thermo-optic coefficient and good laser performance. Thesis consists of six sections: a literature review; experimental methods and basic theories; the effect of PbO/BaO ratios on the properties of Nd-doped phosphate glasses; the effect of Li2O/K2O ratios on the properties of Nd-doped phosphate glasses; the effect of Na2O/K2O ratios on the properties of Nd-doped phosphate glasses; conclusion. The details are as follows: In Chapter I, the application and research progress of Nd-doped phosphate laser glass are introduced. Then the structure of binary phosphate glass is analyzed in detail. Besides, the spectroscopic and thermo-optical properties of Nd-doped phosphate glass are briefly introduced. Finally, the purpose and research contents of this paper are proposed. In Chapter II, the experimental methods and basic theories are described, including the preparation of glass, glass performance testing methods, and theoretical analysis methods, such as Judd-Ofelt theory. In Chapter III, the effect of PbO/BaO ratios on the physical properties, thermal properties, spectroscopic properties, thermo-optical properties and structure of Nd-doped phosphate glass are systematically studied. The absorption spectra are analyzed by Judd-Ofelt theory to obtain the spectral parameters. In addition, the Fuchtbauer-Ladenburg theory is used to calculate the stimulated emission cross sections of Nd3+ ions in phosphate glass. The results show that with the increase of the PbO/BaO ratios, the stimulated emission cross section of glass increases, but the thermo-optic coefficient has no significant change. In Chapter IV~V, the effect of Li2O/K2O and Na2O/K2O ratios on the properties and structure of Nd-doped phosphate glass are investigated respectively. The density, refractive index, thermal properties, Raman spectra, fluorescence and absorption spectra and thermo-optical properties of the glass are tested and analyzed. The J-O parameters, spontaneous radiative probability and branching ratio are calculated according to Judd-Ofelt theory, and the stimulated emission cross sections of Nd3+ ion are calculated by Fuchtbauer-Ladenburg theory. The results show that both the thermal properties, such as glass transition temperature, thermal expansion coefficient and the spectral properties of the glass, such as the stimulated emission cross section and the fluorescence intensity are affected by the mixed alkali effect, changing nonlinearly with the R2O/K2O ratio increases. While the thermo-optic coefficient increases monotonously with the increase of Li2O/K2O ratio. In Chapter VI, conclusions are outlined, and the shortcomings in this paper are pointed out for the further improvement.
