英文摘要	By using Sonogashira coupling reactions and iodine cyclization reactions, diiodide difuro-fused tetrahydro[5]helicene imides were conveniently synthesized, which then gave a series of functionalized difuro-fused tetrahydro[5]helicene imide derivatives by Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. The crystal structures showed that the aromatic imide dyes had -extended and helical structures, and could pack into herringbone-like architectures. Moreover, the imide dyes also showed intense fluorescence and redshifted emissions in both solution and spin-coated films because of the expanded -conjugation systems and the helical twisted structures.
