中文摘要The aerodynamics of flapping wing micro air vehicle (FMAV) are significantly affected by the wing kinematics, of which are mainly flapping and pitching of the wings. And the design of wing kinematics pattern is an effective way to modulate the lift and thrust, consequently the control the vehicle. Here, such pattern of wing motion for hovering flapping flight is studied using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). This work is highlighted by the insights into asymmetric pitching and the effects of it on the aerodynamic performance. It is found that the thrust benefits from this wing kinematics configuration and the lift is also greatly influenced by this. Explanation of these phenomenon are discussed. And other important factors relating to the design of a practical FMAV are also noted.
