英文摘要 | The problem of deducing two-dimensional theories form the three-dimensional theory for a transversely isotropic body is in vestigated. It is shown that the spatial displacements of a three-dimensional body can be represented by the mid-place displacements and their derivatives and that the general deformation can be decomposed to two independents parts: the asymmetric deformation ( plate problems) and the symmetric part (plate problems) . The exact equations for the homogeneous transversely isotropic plates and the approximate equations for the transversely isotropic plates under transverse loads and derived directly from the three-dimensional theory. Torsion of a rectangular plate and bending of an infinitely large plate with a circular hole are examined to illustrate the application of the plate theory developed |
