英文摘要Nowadayscrowdsurveillanceisanactiveareaofresearch.Crowdsurveillanceisalwaysaffectedby
variousconditions,suchasdifferentscenes,weather,ordensityofcrowd,whichrestrictsthereal
application. Thispaperproposesaconvolutionalneuralnetwork(CNN)basedmethodtomonitorthe
number ofcrowd flow,suchasthenumberofenteringorleavingpeopleinhighdensitycrowd.Itusesan
indirect strategyofcombiningclassification CNNwithregressionCNN,whichismorerobustthanthe
direct way.Alargeenoughdatabaseisbuiltwithlotsofrealvideosofpublicgates,andplentyof
experimentsshowthattheproposedmethodperformswellundervariousweatherconditionsnomatter
either indaytimeoratnight.
