英文摘要120 Chinese 3, 4, 5, and 6-year-olds' gender constancy and gender-typed behavior were examined to verify Kohlberg's gender cognitive development theory. Results show that: 4-year-olds can identify gender for self and others completely; 8%3-year-olds, 7%4-year-olds, 23% 5-year-olds and 63% 6-year-olds acquired gender constancy; Preschoolers' gender stability follows the developmental order from the near future to the past, then to long-dated future; Their gender consistency developed from inner to outside; sex-typed behavior is related to gender constancy level. Finally, 40 4 and 5-year-olds who failed on gender constancy were trained with genital knowledge and the retesting showed great promotion effect.
