Microwave magnetic property of easy-plane Y2Co14B particle composite

英文摘要With the wide use of electromagnetic devices in GHz frequency band, the exploration of microwave soft magnetic materials with high permeability at GHz band has attracted much attention [1]. The previous studies have demonstrated that the good microwave magnetic properties can be achieved for the soft magnetic materials with easy-plane anisotropy, and the product of initial permeability and natural resonance frequency for the easy-plane material can be described as [2]: (μ1-1)fr=(2γMs/3)(Hθ/H)2, (1) where γ'=2.8 GHz/kOe, Hθ and Hp are out-of-plane anisotropy field and in-plane anisotropy field. The Eq. (1) has theoretically pointed out the high Ms and ratio of Hθ/Hp are preferable to get the good microwave magnetic property. Compared to the widely reported easy-plane soft magnetic particles with flake shape and easy-plane Co2Z particles, rare earth-transition metal compounds with easy-plane anisotropy which induced by strong magneto crystalline anisotropy are presumed to have more superior microwave magnetic properties because of their large saturation magnetization and high ratio of Hθ/Hp. © 2015 IEEE.
