| 英文摘要 | 中国纹样极具深意，它们大多数都表达了人们对生活的一种虔诚的精神寄托，而从古至今传承吉祥寓意的纹样更是堪称典范。在湘西苗族地区，传统手工艺中的龙纹、鸟纹、蝴蝶纹等纹样不仅有着深厚的传统文化内涵，更具鲜明的艺术特色。 作者认为从设计的角度来讲，蝴蝶纹不仅仅是单纯的纹样之一，更是具有内涵的一种文化。蝴蝶纹的设计应用需要与社会的发展相契合，既传承历史文化又应具有其自身鲜明的艺术个性。 随着旅游经济的发展，蝴蝶纹在旅游商品设计中的应用已屡见不鲜，但如何把蝴蝶纹的民族文化内涵也渗透其中，在契合日趋成熟的消费市场的同时，又能大幅度提升设计产品的文化价值，实现民族文化与世界文化的接轨，还有待进一步值得探讨...; China patterns have very profound meaning, most of them expressed people's longing for a better life and a devout spiritual sustenance, and auspicious patterns of inheritance from ancient times to the present is exemplary.
