| 英文摘要 | 随着经济的高速发展，交通运输业也得到了飞速发展，车辆数量越来越多，但是随之而来的交通问题也日益突出，这使得智能交通(IntelligentTransportationSystem，简称ITS)系统成为研究热点，并受到了国内外学者的广泛的关注。车牌识别系统(LicensePlateRecognition，简称LPR)是智能交通领域中重要的研究课题之一。 本文研究了一种基于多模板匹配的车牌识别算法，主要工作如下： (1)提出了基于XYZ颜色空间的车牌定位方法，该方法利用了车牌图像的颜色信息，并结合车牌区域的几何特征，快速准确的提取出车牌区域。实验表明该算法定位准确率高，且具有较强的环境适应性。...; With the rapid development of economy, the transportation industry also has been developing rapidly.
