| 英文摘要 | 中国四大名著之一的《红楼梦》被誉为中国文化的百科全书，其中的古典诗词部分也是中国文化的艺术珍宝。诗歌作为形式及内容独树一帜的文学体裁，同时具有抒情性、含蓄性以及精炼性，包含诸多意象。《红楼梦》中诗歌占了很大的比重，它们对故事的开始、发展、结局以及对人物命运性格的描写与预测起着举足轻重的作用。因此，《红楼梦》诗歌翻译意义重大。 本文对《红楼梦》诗歌予以简单介绍，并将其大致分为五类，包括暗合小说悲剧情节的，讽刺腐败作风的，彰显人物性格的，揭示人物命运的以及反映精神文化的。我们认为诗歌可译，并主张在翻译诗歌时，应忠实于原文。 本文以《红楼梦》诗歌翻译为研究对象，对比英译版本中两个全英译文——霍克...; As one of the four Chinese classical novels, Hong Lou Meng is considered as encyclopedia of traditional Chinese culture, and the poems in it are also considered artistic treasures.
