英文摘要	本文旨在探讨格罗丽亚•内勒的《布鲁斯特街的女人们》中的后现代现实主义。二十世纪八十年代初，已流行二十多年的后现代主义文学开始衰退。与此同时，现实主义文学重新进入人们的视野，许多当代作家也开始使用现实主义写作手法。与传统现实主义作品不同的是，新的现实主义作品具有其独特的特征。一方面新的现实主义作家采用现实主义的写作手法，描述人类的共同现实；另一方面他们又使用后现代主义的写作技法以否定现实主义描述的现实的真实性，因此小说内部出现矛盾和冲突。从这方面说，内勒的第一部小说《布鲁斯特街的女人们》是一部具有这种新的现实主义或后现代现实主义特色的小说。 本文由引言、结语和四个章节构成。引言部分...; This M.A. thesis aims to examine postmodern realism in Gloria Naylor’s inaugural novel The Women of Brewster Place (1982, The Women hereafter).
