| 英文摘要 | 本论文是一篇翻译实践报告。笔者以史蒂芬•平克的著作《语言本能》第九章“一出生就会说话的婴儿——描绘天堂”的英汉翻译为例，在介绍了翻译实践的背景、目标和对原文进行分析的基础上，从词汇和句法两个角度，结合具体的译例分析了本次翻译实践过程中遇到的各种问题与解决方法。当直译法不能准确表达意义时，需要采用增译法、转译法等词汇翻译技巧；译者也时常需要使用调整语序、拆分句子等句子翻译技巧。同时，笔者将自己的译文与台湾作家洪兰的中译本进行了对比研究，指出洪兰译本中存在的词、短语、句子的漏译，从释义错误、理解错误、语言表达、过度的主观发挥、照抄原文五个角度分析洪兰译本中的错译，并提出具体的修改意见。...; This is a project report on the English-Chinese translation of Chapter 9 of The Language Instinct: “Baby Born Talking----Describes Heaven”, which was written by Steven Pinker.
