| 英文摘要 | 对大学生进行国防教育，有助于国家的国防建设、发展和大学生个人的成长成才。并且，不论是立足于培养国防建设人才的角度考虑，还是立足于国家的战略安全角度考虑，对大学生进行必要的国防教育都是非常必须的，其意义非常重大。同其他普通院校学生相比，航海类专业大学生职业的涉外性较强，流动性较大，其素质在一定程度上代表着国家的形象。新时期，国际安全环境尤其海上安全环境恶化、海盗猖獗等潜在威胁以及商船的双重性身份，使得在航海类专业大学生中开展国防教育显得尤为重要。 本文从高校国防教育的概念及意义出发，重点阐述了航海类专业大学生开展国防教育的特殊意义，然后采用“提出问题（航海类专业大学生国防教育现状及存在的问题）...; University students are a major source of power for national development.
