英文摘要	重叠是汉语中一种重要的语法手段。本文对莆仙方言的形容词重叠、动词重叠做了较为全面、细致的探讨，以期增进对重叠问题的认识。 本文将莆仙方言形容词的重叠形式分为三种类型:单纯型、扩展型、附缀型。单纯型包括AA式、A～AA式、A～AAA式、AABB式，扩展型包括ABAC式、AAB式、A～AAB式、A～AAAB式、ABB式、AABC式，附加型包括AXX式、AXAB式。通过单纯重叠、扩展、附加，形容词重叠式可表示出程度的加强或减弱，并增强了描写的形象性、生动性。形容词重叠式可以充当各种句法成分，主要作句子的谓语、定语、状语和补语。动词的重叠形式包括AA式、AAA式、AA看式、AAB式、ABB式、A阿A...; Reduplication is a very important grammatical feature in Chinese Language.
