| 英文摘要 | 族群认同是一个动态的文化实践过程。其过程既离不开文化海流的牵涉，又受制于权力主控下的族群关系场域。隐没甚至濒临消失的弱小族群的认同，可在民族政策的滋润下得到“复苏”，并通过文化实践焕发出勃勃生机。赣南地域历史上的人群，从百越、山都木客、“蛮僚”、“峒寇”、“畲贼”到“山野子”，延续的不是族群实体，而是族群类分观念及此观念下弱小族群不平等的地位。华夷秩序之下，畲族及其先民的族群认同“日渐萎靡”，仅靠零碎的族源记忆得以维系、绵延。畲姓之于畲民，就是潜在的祖先认同。这种下意识在现实的激发下，转变为有意识的祖先认同，进而跃升为民族认同。民族识别之后，畲民不再是受汉人歧视的“非我族类”，而是享受国家民族...; Ethnic identity is a dynamic process of cultural practice.
