| 英文摘要 | 语言的使用与文化的体现虽有密切关系，但对使用多种语言的族群而言，其所使用的其中一种语言即使是主要语言改变了，并不意味着其文化的消失。本论文指出语言的转移并非一种同化的实现，由于印尼华族实置身于一多语的环境，在印尼政府推动的同化政策下，他们虽学习印尼语文，但华族群居与群聚的居住型态，使其仍能保存华族的方言与传统文化，加上印尼政府在推动同化的过程中采取种族二分法，使印尼华族一再受到不公平的待遇，导致他们选择强化其华人性，当印尼政府开放华语文学习后，立即引起他们学习华语文的热潮。由于华文为一表意文字，只要是华族的方言皆能读、说，但延续自近代中国在确立北京方言为国音/国语时所推动的“国语统一，言(音)...; To most of people, although the language and culture are very closely related, language is only a part of the culture.
