英文摘要	中国人移居缅甸历史悠久，尤其在19世纪初至20世纪初，华侨不断地涌入缅甸，缅甸华侨社会发生着巨大的变化。本文将这一时期缅甸华侨社会的变迁置于19世纪缅甸社会历史发展的进程中，着重论述经历三次英缅战争（1824—1826年、1852年、1885年）缅甸逐渐沦为殖民地时期及至20世纪初缅甸华侨社会的发展和变化。在这一时期，缅甸华侨社会随着缅甸社会性质的剧变而变化，诸如华侨的籍贯构成、经济活动、人口分布、社会组织关系等.这一时期是缅甸华侨社会由原先相对稳定阶段，到不稳定发展而后进入整合阶段的时期。在三次英缅战争的过程中，华侨网络随移民与贸易的互动作用，逐渐在全缅甸构建及成为东南亚华侨网络重要的组成部...; The immigration of Chinese into Burma has a very long history.
