| 英文摘要 | 本文依据笔者所收集的社团刊物、报刊资料，结合田野调查资料，从功能演变的角度，对独立以来马来西亚福建籍地缘社团的发展变化进行全面系统的研究。 全文分为七个部分。绪论部分主要阐明论文选题的缘起与意义、国内外目前的研究现状、资料使用、研究方法及相关概念界定等内容。第一章回顾了福建人南移马来西亚的历史和福建籍地缘社团发展进程，并对社团的组织结构进行了剖析。 第二章在简要分析马来西亚独立前社团政治角色的基础上，探讨独立以后社团的政治参与情况。独立以来，在马来西亚“形式上的民主”体制下，政党政治结构的失陷和华基执政党的功能失灵迫使福建籍地缘社团不得不介入政治场域，承担起维护社团成员及华人权益的重任。他...; This dissertation attempts to study in comprehensive and systematically the development changes of Malaysian Hokkien regional associations (MHRA) based on the associations’ publications, newspapers reports and fieldworks outcomes.
