英文摘要	新建地方本科院校是在我国高等教育迅速发展，由精英教育向大众教育过渡的背景下应运而生的。其多数是通过合并、联组，形成新的本科院校，学校层次的提升，使得这类学校办学者的心态发生急剧的变化，在规划自己学校发展时并不一定能非常客观地从自身的实际出发，明显地体现出一种浮躁与虚荣的心态，尤其在师资队伍建设方面存在着一些问题，诸如教师数量不足、教师的结构有待调整、教师的总体科研力量较弱等。这些问题严重制约了新建地方本科院校的发展，新建地方本科院校师资队伍建设如何取得长足发展，为学校真正从内涵上实现专科到本科的跨越，是当前这些高校所面临的共同课题。 泉州师范学院作为福建省第一所新建地方本科院校，是由原泉州师...; With the transformation of elite education to mass education, China’s higher education has achieved rapid development, which has hastened the birth of many local universities.
