英文摘要	佛教慈善组织是指具有佛教背景，志愿从事慈善公益活动的民间非营利组织。它的母体可以是依托于某个寺庙或居士团体，也可以是独立组织；但是一般具有自主的财务核算并开展慈善活动。通常，它的会员以佛教信徒居多，但所提供服务则越出佛教圈，面向社会大众；它以佛教信仰为组织的内核指导思想，但所提供的具体慈善服务项目，则基本与宗教无涉。 论文以厦门南普陀寺慈善会、厦门同心慈善会和福建省佛教协会佛教教育基金委员会等三个佛教慈善组织为重点个案，对其所开展的慈善活动和组织运行机制进行剖析，比较其组织特点和发展优势，同时提出佛教慈善组织具有“救济型慈善”、“服务型慈善”和“弘法型慈善”三种理想类型。力图通过对这三个佛教...; Buddhism-based charitable organization is a civil non-profit organization with Buddhist background that takes charity as its responsibility.
