英文摘要	人的尊严（humandignity）是一个在人权理论中被广为引用的法律概念。在美国宪政文化中，人的尊严被赋予了保障个人自由和防范政府权力干预的特定内涵。美国的立宪先贤们借鉴了洛克、潘恩等法学家关于人的尊严的理论，在《独立宣言》、《美国宪法》以及其后的修补条款《权利法案》中融入了以个人主义为人像（imageofman）的人的尊严。 本文以人的尊严在美国宪法中的内涵为主干，追溯人的尊严的历史渊源，分析它与美国宪法的关系。在此基础上，本文进一步阐释了人的尊严在美国宪法中被赋予的不同要义，并最终引申出在历史进程中，人的尊严作为美国宪法精神，由于其学理上的缺憾和过于抽象的内涵，遭到了民众的质疑。 本...; Human Dignity is a legal conception which quotes widely in the field of Human Rights theory.
