英文摘要	儿童劳动自古就有，但是使用童工成为一种普遍现象则是资产阶级工业革命的产物。纵观人类社会的发展历史，尽管经济、政治文明获得了长足的进展，但是，童工——这一有悖于现代文明的现象并没有逐渐消失。相反，直到今天，没有一个国家或地区不存在童工劳动，全球成千上万名儿童以失去正常的教育、发展机会，身心健康、甚至生命为代价，从事着那些使其没有未来的劳动，以换取暂时的生活经济来源，特别是在东南亚、撒哈拉以南非洲、拉丁美洲的一些经济落后国家，童工现象甚为严重。这种状况不仅严重侵害了儿童的个人权利，也导致了贫困与落后的恶性循环，经济增长和公平发展都受到了严重的损害。对童工权利的国际保护起源于20世纪初期，1919年...; Child labor is of long standing, however, it prevailed from the Industrial Revolution.
