英文摘要	在大学历史与文化研究中,一些标志性空间是研究者必谈的话题,如北大的“红楼“,清华的“水木清华“,厦门大学嘉庚风格的建筑等,但是总的来说,大学空间的价值并没有得到研究者和大学管理者足够的重视和认识。空间是大学历史与文化研究的基础和载体,它承载着大学历史与文化独特的场所精神;见证大学历史与文化的变迁,同时延续大学的文脉和师生的归属感,并且发挥大学历史文化陶冶和教育的功能。重新认识空间在大学历史文化研究和实践中的价值,将有利于创新和深化大学文化研究,在实践中更加主动地发挥大学空间的功能。; Many symbolic buildings in universities,such as Red House in Peking University,SMTH in Tsinghua University,and Tan Kah Kee-style architecture in Xiamen University,are hotly discussed in the research of university history and culture.But generally,the value of university buildings hasn't been given sufficient attention to by the researchers and administrators of universities.In fact,buildings are the foundation and carrier of university history and culture,which carries the unique ethos of university history and culture and witnesses its changes,and passes down the university's cultural development and the sense of belonging of teachers and students.Moreover,they play the function of cultural cultivation and education of university history and culture.It will be beneficial to innovate and deepen the research of university culture and play a bigger role in the practice if we could revaluate the university buildings.; 中央高校基本科研业务费项目(T2013221038)
