英文摘要Comparative sequence analysis methods view multiple sequences as profiles for predicting RNA secondary structure. However, some structures may deviate from the real ones as mutation happens. During the computation of consensus structure, triples and pseudoknots also interfere. In this paper, to improve RNA secondary structure prediction, RNA secondary structure is represented as a forest. Structural similarity is measured by aligning two forests. Genetic algorithm is adopted to optimize free energy based fitness function. Experimental results demonstrate efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed framework.
