A fast stream cipher algorithm from one-way function of neural network

英文摘要Stream ciphers are very important in cryptography and can be used for one-time-pad cryptosystems. Stream ciphers are more practical in the secure transmission of large multimedia files such as image or video because modern stream ciphers can run faster than block ciphers. This paper presents a stream cryptosystem consisting of a one-way function of neural networks. By arbitrarily selecting the same n脳n diagonalizable matrix H and the same initial values of LFSRs as the secret keys, randomized key stream derived from new neural synaptic matrix can be used for encryption and decryption. The proposed scheme has been implemented in C program and the experimental results show that this cryptographic approach has a higher performance in terms of encryption and decryption speed compared with traditional ones. This encryption method passes SP 800-22 tests and is practical for implementation.
