英文摘要	1968年,在联合国亚洲及远东经济委员会的赞助下,美国、日本、韩国和台湾地区学者,在东海及黄海进行地球物理探勘。台湾当局即已经关注钓鱼岛问题,通过政治、经济、“外交“等方面的努力,维护钓鱼岛主权及领土完整。台湾当局坚持钓鱼岛列屿是中国固有的领土,但将领土与主权问题寄希望于美国,未能从根本上解决钓鱼岛问题。台湾当局的因应,无论主观动机,还是客观效果,都产生一定影响。但这些因应没有及时、全部对民众公开,被民众认为台湾当局在钓鱼岛问题上软弱无能而产生误解。; Sponsored by the United Nations Economic Commission for Asia and the Far East,researchers from United States,Japan,Koran,Republic of Korea and Taiwan began to explore East China Sea and Yellow Sea in 1968.Ever since then Taiwan Authorities have paid close attention to Diaoyu Islands and endeavored to safeguard the sovereignty of Diaoyu Islands and territory integrity through political,economic and diplomatic efforts.Taiwan Authorities have failed to find the fundamental solution to the issue of Diaoyu Islands as they place their hopes too much on the United States even if they still insist that the islands belong to China's inherent territory.Nevertheless,what Taiwan authorities had done in response to the issue had made a certain impact.As some of these responses were kept from the public by Taiwan Authorities they were believed to be weak and incapable in handling the issue.; 教育部区域与国别研究培育基地·厦门大学港澳台研究中心项目资助
