We define a class of infinite-dimensional Lie algebras which are called generalized Schrodinger-Virasoro algebras and denoted by gsvinverted right perpendicularG,alpha inverted left perpendicular. In this paper the automorphism group and irreducibility of Verma modules for gsvinverted right perpendicularG,alpha inverted left perpendicular are completely determined. (C) 2009 Elsevier Inc.
