英文摘要	1920年代,北京大学的“整理国故“运动及清华研究院的成立,初步确立了这个时期“国学“研究在“科学“与“人文“两种向度上共存并进的学术格局,而这两种取向的选择背后其实透露的是“杜威/胡适“与“白璧德/《学衡》派“之间的思想差异。在唯科学主义的弊端日趋明显的情形下,如何寻回中国文化自身的“人文“传统,吴宓等《学衡》一派的学人借助白璧德的新人文主义思想的启发所展开的诸多思考,也许在今天仍具有不可忽略的重要价值。; In 1920 s, the "Sorting out the National Past" movement and establishment of the Tsinghua research institute initially established the scholarly setup of "Guoxue"( 国 学,studies of Chinese culture) research in this time, that "science" and "humanity" can coexistence in perfect harmony, this choice showed the thinking difference between "Dewey/Hu Shi" and "Babbitt/Critical Review".Under such circumstance as dominant Scientism's abuses gradually appeared, how to bring back the "humanity" tradition of Chinese culture, many thoughts of Wu Mi and his Critical Review companion, which with the help of Babbitt's New Humanity, maybe still have important value.
