Time:November 7, 2013 - November 8, 2013.; WIT Transactions on Information and Communication Technologies; Can urbanization promote economic growth? What role does urbanization play on various ways to economic growth? In order to answer these questions, we did some positive analysis based on provincial panel data during 2001-2008. We find that urbanization can promote economic growth. So far as the factors to economic growth are concerned, physical capital is of the most importance. ? 2014 WIT Press.
