Time:AUG 21-22, 2011.; By using non-parametric additive panel model, this paper empirically studied the impact of economic development to environmental pollution in China. Our research results are summarized as follows: The relationship between environmental pollutants and economic variables including the industrial structure, technological level and pollution control show mostly inverted U shapes or inverted N shapes.
