Time:MAR 10-11, 2012.; This paper uses smooth transition regression (STR) model to study the nonlinear relation between the exchange rate of US dollar against RMB and the fiscal revenue in China. The research results show that there exists the two-way Granger causality relations between exchange rate and fiscal revenue, and exchange rate has significant nonlinear impacts to fiscal revenue.
