英文摘要	基于货币职能的全视角,日元国际化阻滞的最主要原因在于日元的国际交换媒介职能无法发挥实质性的作用,而这与日本的贸易结构和经济增长模式有关。因此要使交换职能的国际化程度提高,需要提高产业结构层次,降低贸易依存度。同时应将模仿型的技术方式转变为原创型的技术方式,如此才能在国际贸易的产业链中处于高端地位,才能真正提高一国经济的整体实力进而增强货币国际竞争力。这对于当前我国人民币国际化的研究具有借鉴意义。; This paper analyzes the determinants of currency internationalization and the problems for Japanese Yen,from the whole perspective of currency roles.A major cause of the sluggish Yen internationalization is that Yen has failed to play effectively as an international vehicle currency.This is determined by the trade structure and the economic growth pattern of Japan.I argue that in order to improve the role of an international vehicle currency,it is necessary to upgrade the industrial structure and to reduce the dependence on trade.The technological strategy of a country should shift from imitation to innovation,in order to move toward the high end of the specialization continuum and to improve the overall economic strength and the currency competitiveness.The research has important implications on RMB internationalization.
