英文摘要	西南大学“读名著拿学分“政策规定既有其合理性,也有其不足之处。为了避免该政策流于形式,西南大学应该制订详细的课程标准手册,在大一新生中宣传教育;成立形式多样的读书组织,形成浓厚的读书氛围;严格考核环节,探索形式多样的考核方式;吸纳学生代表参与推荐阅读书目,真正做到开卷有益。; The policy that students can obtain credits by reading classics at Southwest University has its rationality,also has its inadequacies.In order to avoid the policy becoming a mere formality,some suggestions have been listed as follows: the handbook of curriculum standards should be formulated and publicized in the freshman;various reading clubs should be organized on the campus for creating thick reading atmosphere;the examination should be strict and assessment ways should be various;some student representatives should be absorbed to recommend reading list.; 教育部新世纪人才支持计划项目“中美研究生培养模式比较研究”(NCET-09-0679)资助
