| 英文摘要 | 清代的贱民等级,包括奴仆类贱民、隶卒类贱民、倡优以及乐户等。其应举资格受到严格的限制,无法直接以合法的身份进入科场。由于雍正时期的“除豁令“以及其他相关规定,贱民等级的应试权益前后呈现为一种由“基本缺失“到“有限改良“的特点,但总体而言,贱民身份者仍无法在短期内顺利获得应举资格。在科名的强大诱惑下,不同类别的贱民通过各种途径冒考科举的现象在清代并不鲜见。科举考试将贱民等级排除在外,其根源不在于科举制度本身,而在于“清流品而重名器“的社会传统。从更为广阔的视野来看,科举制仍堪称极具开放性与公平性的选才制度。; In the Qing Dynasty,social outcas ts included domestic servants,slave soldiers,actors and so on.They were not eligible to take imperial examinations(IEs).Due to the chuhuoling(a decree to improve outcasts ' social status) and other relevant provisions,their right to take IEs changed from basically zero to a limited few.Generally,it was very difficulty for social outcasts to have their right to take IEs approved in a short time.Lured by the strong temptation of IEs,social outcasts of all kinds tried to obtain false identifications so as to be allowed to take IEs in the Qing Dynasty.This paper argues that the root cause for the exclusion of social outcasts did not lie in the IE system itself but in the then mainstream theory that emphasized social status rather than talent and ability,and that IE system in a broader perspective is still considered a system of talent selection with considerable openness and fairness.; 教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地重大课题“自主招生与高考改革研究”(2009JJD880016) |
