英文摘要	Complexes of manganese(II), cobalt(II) and iron(III) with N-[(benzoylamino) thioxomethyl] glycine, C6H5CNHCNHCH2COOH (HL), having the general formula MnL(OH). 0.5CH(3)OH, CoL(OH). 0.5CH(3)OH and Fe2L2(OH)(4). CH3OH have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, IR spectra and thermal analyses. The results show that the coordination structures of these complexes are different from each other. It was also found that the ligand and its complexes possess scavenger effects on O-2(-.) radicals. The cobalt(II) complex inhibits the lipid peroxidation of a homogenate of mouse liver, but the iron(III) complex accelerates the lipid peroxidation of the homogenate of mouse liver.
