英文摘要	论文从政治、经济、文化等层面对当今国际学术界国际移民研究的热点进行了评介,剖析重要概念,展望发展趋势,认为国际移民是全球化的一个系统性因素,唯有将国际移民置于全球化的大系统之内,方能准确认识其社会影响,正确评价其未来走向。同时结合国内华侨华人研究现状,对华侨华人研究总体水平进行了回顾,并就一些迫切需要深入探讨的问题进行了理性思考。; Along with the flows of products,capital,and information among nations,international migration has become an integral part of globalization.With this new trend,scholars in the field of international immigration studies have focused their attention on topics such as the appearance of flexible citizenship and its implications,the clout of immigrant interest groups over public policies,deviating practice between the State as an Actor and the State of Law in immigration,roles of the UN and the NGO in the age of transnational migration,antagonistic economic interests between the countries exporting migrants and the countries at the receiving end,and resurgence of the agitation for forced assimilation at the expense of multiculturalism.On the other hand,for China's scholars in the field of overseas Chinese studies,the expectations are to explore the possible roles assumed by overseas Chinese as a component of China's soft power,to analyze diverse perceptions of identity issues by overseas Chinese living in varied geographic and cultural settings,to ponder over controversies around the official policy of abolishing dual-citizenship,to investigate the impact of overflowing made-in-China products upon the local overseas Chinese economy,and to probe into the correlations between the Confucius institutes promoted by the Chinese government and the local Chinese education based on overseas Chinese communities.; 国家社科基金项目(11BMZ038)阶段性成果
