中文摘要	在我国仍有大量流动人口不会或不用普通话。在对傅村农民工的调查中,我们发现,傅村农民工主要与亲戚、老乡等交往,老家话的使用仍非常普遍,而只有当他们觉得老家话不能满足其工作上的需要时,才会去学习并使用普通话。这一事实表明,单纯的人口流动未必能够促进普通话的普及,只有经由开放性的工作才会发挥作用;流动人口内部在语言使用上的差异,实际上是该群体社会分化的结果。; In China,a large migrant population are still not fluent putonghua speakers.Based on a survey of the migrant workers from Fucun Village,we have found that they are mainly in contact with their relatives or fellows so that their local dialect is still the preferred language,and they are reluctant to learn and use putonghua unless the jobs demand putonghua practice.This fact indicates that population movement may not lead to the popularization of putonghua unless there is also active work,and the differences of language use among the migrant population are the results of their social stratification.; 【作者单位】集美大学文学院；【作者英文名】FU Yirong
