中文摘要	随着全球经济一体化和科学技术的发展,社会对财经人才的要求越来越高,精通业务领域外语的人才不仅可以在职场中获得更大的优势,还可以为其继续深造打下基础。ESP教学在我国虽已开展30余年,但受传统教学体制的束缚,该门课程仍然定性不明、地位尴尬,得不到应有的发展空间。在新一轮教改的框架下,对ESP进行重新定位与思考尤为重要。应努力突破体制的藩篱,改革传统的大学英语教学模式,整合高校英语教学资源,突出专业性英语人才的培养目标。; With the further expansion of political,economic,cultural and technological globalization and the deepening of the College English teaching reform,there arises the trend of ESP-oriented English teaching in the colleges and universities.Under the guidance of the ESP theory,the paper explores the teaching construction of English for Economic and Financial Purpose from the aspects of its nature,status,pedagogy,textbooks and evaluation system,so as to offer suggestions for the reform and optimization of the course.; 【作者单位】集美大学财经学院；【作者英文名】WU Qiong(School of Finance & Economics,Jimei University,Xiamen 361000,China)
