中文摘要A model is established to investigate the thermal wave in adsorption refrigeration by ana1yzing the transient heat transfer in the adsorption bed. Numerical method is adopted. The fluid velocity and the equivalent heat transfer coefficient, which mainly infiuence the characteristic of the thermal wave, are discussed. Their influence to the COP and SPD(system power density) is also presented. The key to the thermal wave cycle is to greatly intensify the heat transfer in the adsorption bed. The thermal wave cycle doesn't seem to be practicable in adsorption refrigeration because the ideal thermal wave can only be established with very low fluid velocity, which will greatly cut down the power density of the system.
